Life is a gift that should be enjoyed daily. My wife, three children, and I have set our roots in Northern IL; a short distance from my Podiatry practice in Spring Grove, IL. Laughter, kindness, honesty, fairness, and good friendships are what I now strive for. At our office we want everyone to be comfortable and well informed. Thus allowing us to work together resolving foot and ankle disorders.

Born and raised in Boulder Colorado (yes I miss the Rocky Mountains,) though I have now found a happy balance of family, friends, and work in IL. Today I am a Licensed Physician of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois, a Rotarian, a husband, a father, and a member of the local chamber of commerce. The path to this included some diversity. Starting young I tried a few different jobs: paper route, Ski Patrol, ski lift operator, volunteer fire fighter and medical lieutenant, CPR instructor, construction (including the gondola in Steamboat Springs, CO), golf course maintenance, grocery store stocker, Mountain trails construction, ER & trauma center volunteer, soup kitchen volunteer, playground installation, and YMCA daycare site director. There were a few more jobs along the way, but you get the idea.

Following graduation from Boulder High School in 1986, I worked for a year in the mountains to see what it was like to earn a living. During the subsequent 4 years I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon. This small private college had great professors that truly shaped my learning process. The classes were fabulous but the college experience was more than pure class work. With my spare time I learned to sail on the Willamette river, obtained open water SCUBA certification in the Puget sound (in the presence of giant octopus and killer whales), and visited classmates at their homes for one Summer in Hong Kong, and Japan, with a fascinating tour through Thailand. 1994-1998 were the years I spent at the Scholl college of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Earning the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. My Residency training was completed at Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County. Currently American College of Lower Extremity Surgeons (ACLES) Associate. Board Certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery (ABLES.)
